For new patients, our surgeons review all incoming referrals to determine the appropriate clinical urgency (triage) and to ensure we can provide the best care pathway.

What To Do Now

1. Submit Your Referal

Please send or get your GP to send us a copy of your referral to info@peninsulavascular.com.au Include Supporting Info: Ensure any relevant investigations (e.g., ultrasounds, blood tests previous relevant information) is included with your referral, as this helps the surgeons with their assessment.

2. Clinical Triage

The surgical team will review the referral to determine if the condition is urgent (within 1 week where possible) or requires a routine appointment and will request further testing or imaging prior to being seen.

3. Wait For Contact

Once the surgeon has reviewed your referral, our staff will contact you to discuss the outcome and arrange an appointment. You will be contacted via telephone, email, or letter regarding your appointment status.

4. Continue Visiting Your GP

Please continue seeing your general practitioner for management of your condition while you wait for the outcome of the triage.
